Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF (an Etnyre International Company) is a full-service metal manufacturing facility that specializes in heavy and light fabrication for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Our organization has a fifty year history servicing the construction, power generation, agriculture, and mining industries. Job Duties:

• Cleans parts using various hand and powered hand tools to remove metal slag or finish surface debris, ensuring parts are cleaned to work order specifications
• Washes parts using a wash booth or chemical solvents to remove all debris in preparation for painting
• Performs assembly work as required for finished product according to work order specifications; performs accurate fitting and adjusting to required tolerances as specified
• Packages final assembled parts for shipment according to work order specifications
• Repeatedly inspects work to ensure quality of product
• Records accurate labor records
• Maintains a clean work area while performing all work maintaining quality standards
• Performs all work in a safe manner by wearing proper PPE for each job and adhering to safety standards and guidelines
• Performs other duties as required

• 
  Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to be trained in the following areas: Quality & Safety, Blue Print Reading, Hand Held Gauges, Rust Prevention, Weld Characteristics, and Final Inspection
• Ability to read and follow directions as well as operate machines
• Able to lift 50lbs and to stand for long periods of time
• Able to complete Job Specific Standard Work Instructions and Job Safety Analysis
• A Pulmonary Function Test is required for employees performing work that requires use of an air supplied hood
