Job Summary:
The Admissions Client Services Associate is responsible for providing superior customer service to prospective, new, current, and returning Regis students. This position provides assistance to students via telephone, chat, text, email, and in-person visits. This Associate partners with all Strategic Enrollment Staff in thoughtful and creative ways to help guide prospects, students, families, and visitors through the admissions onboarding process and directs to the appropriate offices on campus to support and resolve the needs of all inquiries and visitors to campus. The Admissions Client Services Associate helps to remove enrollment barriers so new students are set up for a successful academic journey and continuing students are retained through graduation. Through quality and sincere interactions, the Admissions Client Services Associate provides superior customer service in a high-energy, high-volume, and interactive work environment. This Associate is responsible for overseeing and managing the reception area of the Admissions Office and is responsible for the first impression many visitors experience on campus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential
80% Provide Support and Service to Prospective, New, Current, and Returning Students and Families
- Exemplifies the Regis University mission and all of Strategic Enrollment Management as the Admissions front desk office representative.
- In compliance with FERPA guidelines, answers incoming enrollment questions received through calls, and in-person interactions with students and families, and responds to emails and chats; determines students' needs and provides service as appropriate through an immediate solution or transfer to the appropriate person/department.
- Maintains an elevated level of general Regis knowledge to guarantee an accurate transfer of knowledge and information to students and campus visitors.
- Develops and maintains a basic understanding of university policies, procedures, and requirements, and effectively communicates information as it relates to students' admissions status.
- Resolves student problems by clarifying issues, researching, and exploring answers, implementing solutions, escalating unresolved problems to appropriate staff/departments as needed, and following up to ensure the resolution of each issue.
- Provide a trusting environment in which students can share aspirations, concerns, and interests.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and services across the university to understand processes, systems, and services and to resolve student issues.
- Track student concerns to determine if barriers are representative of trends that should be addressed by the university or whether they represent challenges unique to a particular student. Recommend policies and develop practices to eliminate barriers that are problematic to multiple students.
- Facilitate awareness and connect students to general information and support services (tutoring, learning resources, extracurricular opportunities, career support, workshops, etc.)
- Serve as a point of contact, in collaboration with Admissions Counselors, Events team, and Leadership for new student onboarding.
15% Office Management
- Serves as liaison to Physical Plant and Ricoh, managing office needs and work orders.
- Anticipates and initiates actions regarding daily office operations; aids in the identification, development, communication, and implementation of policies and procedures to improve office functions.
- Receive and reply to incoming and outgoing calls and provide directory information for inquiries while transferring calls appropriately.
- Manages office supply purchases and inventory.
5% Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- 2 - 3 years of work experience in a college/university setting as a student employee or graduate assistant or 2 - 3 years as a full-time employee with customer service responsibilities.
