Role (Overview of the Position)

The Client Success Manager is one of the most critical roles in our company. It is the bridge to help transition new customers who've recently acquired a high cash value life insurance policy into becoming long term stewards over their policy.

The policies that Altitude Life helps clients acquire are dynamic tools with multiple beneifts and useses. The Client Success Manager is responsible for intimately understanding how these policies work and then helping our clients to be successful with their high cash value life insurance policy.

This role is focused on five key aspects.

Customer Support - First and foremost, this position is responsible for meeting with clients in both one on one zoom meetings as well as group training sessions. It is important that the Client Success Maanger has a love for listening and interacting with clients in an effort to help them. The position will be working with clients who’ve recently acquired a policy all the way to clients who’ve already had a policy for 10+ years. No matter where the client is on their policy timeline the main function of this position is to be excited and able to help support the client in having long term success with their policy as it realtes to their overall financial goals and strategy.

Internal Sales - In the process of meeting with clients there will be opportunities to upsale the client to the next most appropriate step in their Financial Game Plan. It is important the the Cient Success Manager understands the various strategic options availbalb to a client for continued fincanil success and then be able to “sale” the customer on taking that next step. The Client Success Manager will not be responsible to close any new business but will be required to sale the client on the reason why the next step would be a good thing to consider then be able to make the connection with the appropriate team member who wil pick up the sales and strategy conversation from the initial transition.

Client Journey - This role will be responsible for working with the leadership team to determine and create the client success path. One of the long term goals of this newly formed department is to be able to have outline a proven success path that clients can follow on their ongoing journey of funding and using their policy. This proven success path is currently intnal tribal knowledge among the Founders of the company and will need to be extracted, curated and created in such a way that it becomes common knowledge for the company and can be easily communicated to clients and followed by all.

Interpersonal Skills - The Client Success Manager will be the primary point of contact to serve clients who already have in force policies. As a result, the position must be good at interacticing with the various internal departents and insurance compnaies to gather the required informaiton to then be able to present the relevant info to a client to help them with their particular challenge. Because the role will be communicating with so many different departments internal ane external it is cricically important that you be able to communicate in a professional manner that reflects our company’s core values and commitment to win-win solutions.

Data Management - This role can only be successful with the appropriate data. It is critical that you be able to build and maintain a detailed CRM that will house the policy and game plan specific data. Without good data on the client and their future opportunities it will be difficult to succeed. The CRM for this position is being buit currently so it will be required that you step in and finish the build out of the client centric information and then maintain the data as new clients are added every single month.

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)

  • Manage the departments tools and systems to include:
  • Performex (CRM)
  • Asana - client pipeline
  • Ensure all projects and rocks are completed on time and on budget.
  • Update and report on department company metrics.
  • 1:1 annual policy reviews with clients
  • Conduct, or co-facilitate, group training sessions
  • Organize educational resources and have a library of resources available to provide assistance to clients
  • Attend a 90 min Leadership L10 meeting weekly to report on project progress, received news tasks and solve related issues.
  • Attend every EOS quarterly meeting in person usually held in Utah
  • Attend every EOS annual meeting in person usually held in Utah

Results

  • Conducet 1 on 1, annual review meetings with clients (between 10-20 one on one, zoom meetings conducted per week)
  • Identify appropriate business opportunities for clients and “sale” them on why it would be beneficial to them and their game plan
  • Evergreen and templatized client annual reviews completed
  • Clean and Evergreen book of business kept in Performex
  • Ability to create and grow the department by setting and hitting quarterly goals.

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

  • Hold and Maintain current Life Insurance License is a plus
  • Hold and Maintain E & O Insurance
  • Preferable prior experience providing dynmaic and high level customer support and service
  • Prior life insurance sales experience is a benefit but not a requirement
  • Strong commuication skills
  • A passion for customer support and service
  • A strong desire to get in front of clients to build a relationship and listen to their needs

  • Maintina a high levels of client satisfaction
  • Be professional and presentable on zoom calls
  • Good data management skills
  • Adaptability to new opportunities and challenges
