Client Success Manager

Is your inbox at zero? Are you able to manage multiple things at the same time while delivering? Do you thrive with organizing and systematizing?

We should talk. Our outsourced accounting company is hiring for a Client Success Manager. This person will be responsible for managing client relationships and advocating for the customer within our company. You should have a basic understanding of accounting and tax principles, but we are more interested in finding someone who delivers a great client experience. Business experience is very helpful.

Some responsibilities:

• Manage projects for clients and work with our internal team to deliver
• Define service expectations, communication frequency, and keep the team up to date
• Follow-up with client requests and questions
• Work with the support team to deliver promised work on time
• Respond to emails, telephone calls, and regularly meet with customers via Zoom
• Escalate customer problems to get them solved
• Recommend software changes and work changes to the customer when advised by the internal team
• Up-sell to customers if it is in their best interest (this is not a sales position)
• Maintain customer satisfaction
• Provide feedback to our company
• Campaign for service excellence

The Client Success Manager is a new position for our company. As we have grown, we have developed a need for a business-loving person to manage client relationships. Our growth has resulted from over-servicing clients, and we are now at a point where bringing someone on for this role makes sense.

This is a part-time position with lots of flexibility. Availability during California business hours is important. You should have a quiet place to work when meeting with our team and clients.
