Clinic Triage Nurse-Work From Home
Department: Carmi Family Medicine
Minimum Requirements:
Illinois LPN/RN license or CMA certificate, BLS and CPR required. 1 year of Rural Health Clinic experience preferred.
Job Duties:
Handles phone calls from patients who are seeking medical queries and medical attention, as well as evaluating “walk-in” patients who need medical attention. They will schedule appointments as patient’s condition requires, answer questions, and provided limited education. Additionally, they will route messages to providers for additional follow up. Assists Physician Assistant/Midlevel Practitioner and team with assessments, diagnostics, treatment and care of clinic patients, additional duties as assigned.
