Plans therapeutic diets in accordance with physicians’ diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans. Meets and counsels patients on their nutritional needs and care; charts all nutritional-related information in patient charts in an accurate and timely manner, completes all patient assessments within required time frames
Qualifications
Minimum of one year in an acute care setting. Must have R.D. certification. Registered Dietitian with the CDR. Licensed in New York State – Certified Dietitian- Nutritionist is preferred.
