Position Overview: We are hiring a second Clinical Director for the agency to be based in Glasgow, KY. The director duties will be shared with the co-director and is responsible for the management and development of all clinical staff, to include being eligible for, or an already approved licensure supervisor by the Kentucky Board of Professional Counselors. The Clinical Director must think globally and make decisions that promote Alliance’s mission, vision and values amongst our employees and as a leader within the company. The Clinical Director will maintain a client caseload of 12-18 client sessions per week depending upon the administrative needs of the company and supervisee's. The Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision to the LPCA's at Alliance and other job duties below. Requirements for weekly therapy sessions will reduce if supervision and other requirements increase over time. This is a full-time, overtime exempt, salaried position that would be primarily located at Alliance’s Glasgow office location.

About Us: Alliance is an outpatient mental health private practice that primarily serves the Barren River Region of Kentucky, although we also provide telehealth services throughout the state. We opened our doors 11 years ago and continue to adjust, expand and grow to meet the needs of our clients. Alliance provides outpatient therapy services along with Targeted Case Management, Comprehensive Community Supports and a Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program that focuses on mental health recovery skills for children and adolescents. Beginning in 2021 we focused solely on mental health and no longer provide any substance use services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Provide licensure supervision to LPCA's.
2. Provide feedback, encouragement, training, support, and leadership to clinical staff. We view this as a mentorship opportunity to help clinicians feel valued, supported, heard and educated on best practices.
3. Assist in the onboarding training of new clinicians as they join the practice.
4. Lead clinical staff in understanding the golden thread of documentation and forming solid treatment plans and session notes.
5. Complete quality improvement chart audits for clinical staff & prepare/review charts for external insurance audits.
6. Review and sign off on progress notes for LPCA's under your supervision.
7. Interview and make hiring decisions for new therapists who apply to Alliance.
8. Collaborate with Colleges and Universities to support new counseling interns.
9. Regularly review and recommend updates to existing policies and procedures as they pertain to clinical aspects or other pertinent areas.
10. Connect and network with community leaders, businesses, schools, physicians offices, DCBS, etc. to develop and recommend initiatives for the needs in the community.
11. Occasionally attend community events as a representative of Alliance.
12. Help to create resources for staff and clients in a way that’s engaging and easy to understand.
13. Be available for crisis intervention for clinical staff and as a backup clinical lead for other therapists.
14. Maintain a clinical caseload of 12-18 clients per week and follow operational, legal, regulatory and licensure requirements for clinical work.
15. Other duties may be as assigned as appropriate or necessary with a collaborative discussion first.

Qualifications and Skills:

❏ Align with Alliance Counseling Associates mission, vision, and values.
❏ Be actively licensed in the State of Kentucky as an LPCC with a current supervisor status or qualify to apply for it.
❏ Prior experience in a private practice setting both as a clinician and in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
❏ Have strong documentation skills to include complete understanding of the golden thread, diagnostics, intervention and modality language, treatment planning using SMART goals, assessment and outcomes measures, etc.

❏ Value the importance of following regulations as they are written and assisting staff with understanding implementation as new changes arise.

❏ Be creatively minded to assist in the delivery of clinical interventions, in the creation of client and staff resources, and in future planning of Alliance.
