Alleghany Highlands Community Services of Covington, VA is looking to hire a full-time Clinical Services Director. This Clinical Services Director position earns a competitive salary, depending on experience. There is also a $3,500 sign-on bonus available for Virginia-licensed LCSWs or LPCs, according to policies. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES DIRECTOR:
As our Clinical Services Director, you have clinical and administrative oversight of Medical/Psychiatric Services, Emergency Services, Same Day Access, Child and Family Services, SUD Services, Peer Services, Clinical Administrative Support, and Outpatient Services for our agency. As a strategic leader, you plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate a system of community-based services for adults, children, and families with mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders.
You oversee the operations, clinical services, fiscal management, grant management, and public relations for services under your direction which includes the selection, training, and continued engagement of the staff. As part of our leadership team, you serve on a variety of committees and interagency workgroups to advocate for our clients and help identify methods for system improvement and participate in local, regional, and State committees that may require travel.
You ensure that all services are designed and operated according to our policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice models. Utilizing a program evaluation system, you identify the need for changes. You get great satisfaction out of fostering teamwork, respect, cooperation, accountability, and trust while providing effective services to vulnerable populations in our community.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES
- Master's degree in a relevant human services field
- Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or clinical psychologist
- Extensive experience working with individuals in a therapeutic setting
- Extensive supervisory experience
- Willing to obtain Virginia-certified pre-screener certification
- Leadership ability
Experience at a not-for-profit behavioral health outpatient agency is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring others? WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time human services management position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm with the expectation to attend training and meetings as needed around the state as well as evenings or weekends as needs arise and provide service delivery as needs arise.
