Facilitate and coordinate all aspects to rollout the Office Based Systems including planning, set up, preparation, training and support to the office based practice. The position will serve as a clinical/technical all encompassing resource for the practice. Excellent communication, problem solving and critical thinking is needed to adjust to the changing system environment. A lead liaison/coordinator to work with Medical Directors, Practice Managers, and all practice employees at multiple levels. Extensive travel requirements are mandatory, up to 75%. Experience in an office based practice setting is required. On call 24/7 availability will be needed. Experience in Nextgen, OBR, GPMS, Word, Excel and Project will be necessary.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinates with Medical Directors/Practice Manager to facilitate the installation of the clinical information system, and coordinates the schedules, appointments, and activities for the clinical information system team to ensure appropriate resources and timeliness.
2. Expedites all incoming questions/problems generated by the physicians regarding information systems and facilitates resolution in an efficient and timely manner. Executes monitoring measures to ensure processes are completed and followed on a go forward bases.. Coordinates with manager/director to route all concerns from the practice are resolved and answered to their satisfaction.
3. Responsible for on-site visits to facilitate installation of the clinical information system, providing educational inservices to Physicians, Practice Managers, MA’s, Sonographers, RN’s and front/back office personnel. Provide a lead role during implementation to ensure coordination of efforts and successful implementation at at a high level to allocate resources efficiently during the entire process while at the location/s.
4. Responsible for follow-up visits to the clinical information system sites to provide continuing education. Provide a standard resolution process working with manager to maintain consistency throughout the implementation process.
5. Provides ongoing education through E-mail, follow-up phone calls, educational handouts, web demo’s, etc.
6. Manages/monitors the on call responsibility for clinicians after hours ensuring 24-hour support as needed.
7. Coordinates the facilitating testing and involving practices before version upgrades.
8. Facilitates the updates to the system as required to keep lists current and standardized amongst facilities.
9. Reviews and evaluates each facility's data input into the clinical information system, providing feedback to practice.
10. Collaborates with all departments to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
11. Provides prompt, courteous, professional and accurate information in all communications in dealing with physicians and other departments.
12. Demonstrates a commitment to department objectives through consistent patterns of work behavior and positive representation.
13. Responds to the department needs by accepting additional assignments, which may or may not be related to the job's primary responsibilities to ensure the continuity of department services.
17. Responsible for following all facility, organization and department precautions and procedures in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
18. Maintains up to date compliance training as required.
19. Experience in Microsoft Office, Email, and Windows. (Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint)
The ideal candidate will also exhibit:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the implementation of clinical system in office based setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, project, powerpoint).

Preferred:
Current health care licensure. (RN or NNP)
8 years clinical/training experience in office based setting.
8 years experience with clinical data system implementation.
