It is the goal of Higher Heights to reconstruct the lives of families throughout Pinal County that may be overwhelmed with everyday living and functioning that are suffering and/or diagnoses with behavioral/mental issues.

Specific Responsibilities:
Our Clinicians provide therapeutic services to targeted populations using culturally relative methods.
- Develop and maintain linkages with communities for therapeutic service delivery.
- Ensure that the program reporting and evaluation are completed.
- Will provide screening/assessment and quality therapeutic services to Higher Heights participants and act as a resource to our agencies Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT).
- Assessing clients' physical and mental wellness, needs, preferences and abilities and using these to develop tailored care plans
- Working with clients, family and friend support networks and health care professionals to put care plans in place.
The Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) position will also provide the role of Case Manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Master’s degree in addiction counseling, counseling, social work or related field required
Current and valid associate or independent level license through the AZBBHE (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, LISAC); OR ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Remote/telehealth work will be considered.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Possess valid driver license.
Understanding of and ability to use DSM-IV.
Demonstrates knowledge of special populations such as substance abuse.
Demonstrates ability to develop treatment plan and summary based on participants needs.
Demonstrates ability to distinguish between alcohol and other drug-related symptoms and other pre-existing physical problems or pathologic behaviors.
Demonstrates ability to understand the biopsychosocial influences and effects of dependencies.
Demonstrates knowledge of how the acute and chronic nature of the dependence and the ways medical, emotional, behavioral, social, educational and other interventions are used to treat the participant.
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to type and working knowledge/familiarity with computers and electronic clinical record keeping.
Must be certified in First Aid and CPR.
Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
