About You:

As the Cloud Engineer you are passionate about building, monitoring and maintaining critical systems and software as a service infrastructure. You are very detail oriented and prefer things to be ordered, documented and consistent. You take system uptime very seriously and know how to proactively assess and mitigate risks and take the time to create processes to ensure key metrics are gathered, procedures are prepared, and actions are executed when needed to ensure a high performing and always available infrastructure is in place to support CHHJ/M and its customers and partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This is a fully remote role but priority will be given to candidates local to Tampa, FL .
  • Monitor CHHJ systems to ensure 100% uptime and proactively mitigate risks or issues that may cause outages.
  • Manage AWS and Azure cloud based environments including server deployment, cloud based infrastructure, autoscaling, security, monitoring, DNS, routing and other areas.
  • Monitor and maintain Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange systems to ensure business continuity and collaborate with security and governance teams to ensure controls are in place and assist in remediation of audit action items
  • Manage the DevOps CI/CD pipeline and participate in the software release cycle
  • Contribute to IT innovation and digital transformation projects ranging from business process automation to 3rd party integrations and everything in between
  • Act as the escalation point for our IT Support Team and occasionally provide Customer Service to end users - Responds to help desk tickets professionally and in a friendly way. Asks for information where appropriate and cares about user's issues
  • Documentation – Prepare, update and maintain comprehensive system documentation including runbooks, change control logs, post-mortems and other support documentation.
  • Management of user accounts, email and Office licenses.
  • Responsible for System Monitoring, capacity planning, risk mitigation, backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal communications skills and attention to detail and the ability to empathize with end users.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, MIS, or other IT foundation from four-year college or technical school; or five to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At Least 5+ Years Hands-On Experience in a system administration, engineer or architecture role
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, MCSA, MCSE, or AWS Certification(s) preferred
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange Administration
  • Experience in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments is Required. AWS certifications preferred.
  • Experience Troubleshooting servers, firewalls, networks, and other IT systems
  • Excellent Written/Verbal Communication Skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills, Supporting Novice to Advanced Users
  • Experience with Database Administration data sources such as MySQL, PostGRE, Couch, Mongo, Aurora
  • Experience supporting software as a service technologies and services such as Nginx, Apache, IIS serverless architecture, caching, scaling, microservice architectures
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, AWS Codeploy, Amplify
  • Experience with Software based architecture preferred such as Kubernetes, Ancible, Puppet, Chef
  • Knowledge of various enterprise business applications, email and Microsoft Office 365
  • Configuring and Troubleshooting Windows, Mac OS, Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Jira or other Ticketing Systems
  • Fundamental knowledge of networks, Wifi, printers, conference, firewalls, VPNs, IVRs
  • Basic scripting using Python, Powershell, Bash
