As a CMA at our Paynesville Clinic, you will be responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vitals and medical histories. Other duties include assisting with administering patient tests or providing treatment as well as organizing and restocking exam rooms. Under the direction of a provider, the CMA may give injections. The CMA may also assist in x-ray, lab, or patient record keeping areas.
As an LPN at our Paynesville Clinic, you will be responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vitals, answering phones, informing patients of test results, patient education regarding health maintenance, and assisting providers with diagnostic procedures. Other duties include administering injections and immunizations, performing TB skin testing, and ear lavage and electrocardiograms as requested.
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- Working 72 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday rotation 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Current Offerings:
- Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $19.66/hour (LPN) and $18.62/hour (CMA)
- $2,500 sign-on bonus (LPN) and $2,000 sign-on bonus (CMA)*

Qualifications:
- CMA:
- Graduate of a medical assistant program
- Current CMA certificate
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- 1 year of clinical or equivalent experience preferred
- LPN:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Minnesota LPN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
- 1 year of clinical or equivalent experience preferred
*Sign on bonus eligibility: to be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
