Job Description
You will be performing various resident care activities to care for the personal needs of residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care settings. As a CBRF Caregiver, you will promote physical and emotional well-being, prolonging daily functioning, and maintaining a sense of purpose, satisfaction, and quality of life.
Our Community Based Caregivers are:
- Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous
- People-oriented - enjoy interacting with people and serving seniors
- Adaptable/flexible - enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, incontinent care, vital signs, and weight checks.
- Completing resident’s personal laundry
- Assisting residents during meal-time
- Reporting to nurse any unusual behavior of residents
- Providing activities as planned and directed
- Responding to call lights and emergencies quickly
- Administering medications to residents
- Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) Certification
- CNA License
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status. Please note that all employees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or apply for and receive an approved exemption, as a condition of employment.
What we offer:
- Retention Bonus
- Part time position working 16-34 hours per week with set 8 hour shifts
- Full time positions working 35-40 hours per week with set 8 hour shifts
- No waiting period for benefits - start 1st of month following date of hire
