Job description - DAY SHIFT / EVENING SHIFT
We are looking for a compassionate Health Aide, Personal care aide (PCA), Resident care aide (RCA) , Direct Care Aide (DSP) to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in our Facility in accordance with an established care plan. We are a small intimate 23 bed senior ladies' assisted living facility . Assisting senior ladies in our home located in Middleton / Port Jervis Area. We provide excellent care in a clean small comfortable group home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in our facility
- Meal prep for our seniors and meal assistance
- Assist in Administer of simple prescribed medications
- Housekeeping and Laundry
- Assist with senior personal care activities
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Assist with senior activities
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills / Requirements
- Willing to train in Home Health Aide duties
- Ability to monitor vital signs / training provided
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Must have outstanding attendance
- Caring and compassionate personality
- First Aid training provided
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have reliable working phone
- Medication Certification a plus -higher pay if certified
