Job description

. The operator would be responsible for setup, operation, programming, and maintenance of various CNC production equipment. Training is provided. Excellent communication skills are needed to interact with all levels of the organization to execute work orders and meet production deadlines.

Job Duties:

Set up, program and operate equipment.

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on the machines.

Maintain the scrap and material inventory as it pertains to the router or laser.

Use proper feed and speed for maximum efficiency.

Check parts to ensure they meet drawing specifications.

Adhere to a set work schedule with regularly scheduled overtime.

Have the willingness and ability to cross-train in other departments and take on tasks as needed.

Clean material, sand, deburrs, and maintain a clean work area.

Label all items to ensure unity of product.

Follow quality control procedures.

Preferred Skills:

CNC Machine Operation Experience
General Computer Knowledge
Technical and Mechanical Aptitude Work with minimal supervision
Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Able to bend, stand, and lift 50 lbs. with regularity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
