Responsibilities:
- Exemplify and lead JBT Core Values every day; Teamwork, Accountablity, Relentless Continous Improvement, Passion for the Customer, CUSTOMER FIRST and Safety Always.
- Develops CAM programming for CNC machines used in the JBT Madera machine shop
- Develops manufacturing processes and programs by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
- Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data
- Create routings, establish time standards, determine material usage requirements, and create CNC programs for manufactured parts/components
- Create and model using CAD any tooling or fixtures needed for the machining of parts
- Manage CAM and DNC system to ensure the integrity of Madera’s CNC part program database
- Provide technical input and manufacturing requirements to Design Engineers on new and existing products
- Develop technical computing capabilities and tools to support E-Business activities
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Develop manufacturing methods for improving utilization standards and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
- Determine best processes, tools, sequences and techniques to ensure on-time delivery of low cost, quality products to customers
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
- Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
- Provide technical expertise to ensure continued site authorization to construct and repair ASME Code pressure vessels. Maintain ASME Quality Manual. Coordinate and conduct third party audits for renewal of Code and Repair stamps. Qualify welding procedures and personnel and specify welding procedures for pressure vessel construction and repair
- Requires BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent trade experience in Machining and CNC Machine programming and operation
- 7 to 15 years’ experience in a discrete Job or Batch production manufacturing environment is preferred
- Critical Thinking – Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Computer Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, ERP applications, and Create coherent documentation, for other professionals or for reference, clearly explaining the thought process behind the information
- Programming Skills – Proficient in CAM software (Smart Cam and Mastercam preferred)
- CAD Skills – Preferred proficiency in a CAD software system
- Drawing Literacy – Understand drawing layout schemes and protocols including views, sections, tolerances, symbols, notes, etc.
- Math Skills – Use the principles of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other topics in mathematics for analysis, design, and troubleshooting
- Teamwork – Work with other professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds to serve as a bridge between the technical and business sides of the organization

COMPENSATION RANGE: $75,353.00 - $125,589.00
Final compensation is determined on experience and skill.
