OVERVIEW:
The Contracted 1099R Collaborating Physician is responsible for providing primary care oversight for the care delivered by the nurse practitioner at the specifically designated Golden Life Wellness Center Chicago location(s). Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the centers’ staff is a key ingredient to success in this position. PRIMARY CARE OVERSIGHT:
- Provides collaboration and medical advice/guidance to the nurse practitioner(s) and/or physician assistant(s)
- Functions to comply with state medical and nursing regulatory boards through signed collaborative practice agreements
- Reviews and audits clinical charts for quality assurance and regulatory compliances
- Approves and signs standing orders for licensed nurses if needed per state law
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE:
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Illinois licensure as a physician
- * Multi-State Licensure a Plus
- Board Certification in adult medical care and/or pediatric care
- DEA License in good standing or able to obtain one
- Responsible for securing all required CMEs and other educational and professional training, along with maintaining for licensing body, all copies and required documentation
- Not Listed on the HFS Office of Inspector General Provider Sanctions List
EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of clinical experience with both adults and children
Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Pay: $95.00 - $105.00 per hour
