Position
Our team of electricians performs work throughout Utah and Idaho, focusing on commercial, residential, and industrial projects of all sizes.
This position is open to apprentice-level and Journeyman electricians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
- Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
- Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt.
- Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
- Adhere to safety practices and procedures, such as checking equipment regularly and erecting barriers around work areas.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- At least one year of electrical experience
- Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination (and show proof)
- Apprentice-level applicants must be enrolled in a certified electrical schooling program, or do so within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work long hours outdoors in all types of weather, and move/lift at least 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Must be willing to comply with regular drug screenings
