Job Description: Lead Commercial Overhead Door Technician

· The Commercial Overhead Door Technician is the primary installation/service provider for commercial/industrial doors, door opening systems, hollow metal doors, storefront doors, gate opening systems, and dock leveling systems.

· Commercial installation applications are typically handled by a two-person crew: Lead man and Apprentice/Helper. It is the responsibility of the Lead Man to plan, coordinate, and carry out the primary installation task, with the assistance of the Apprentice/Helper.

· Because of the nature of door systems in a commercial/industrial environment, these systems may play a critical role in both business continuity for the customer, as well as revenue generation. Accordingly, problems with these types of systems may require immediate and prioritized attention to repair and/or replacement by the Commercial Overhead Door Technician.

Minimum Qualifications

· High school graduate (or equivalent)

· Drug test required

· Good driving record

· 2+ years’ experience as a Lead
