SUMMARY
Sanctuary Wealth Group, LLC is seeking a dynamic, motivated team player to work as Commissions Analyst providing support between Operations and Finance in the management of monthly partner firm commission activity. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The Commissions Analyst will support in all aspects of balancing and verifying the accuracy of commissions and fees received and reconciled amounts payable to our partner firm owners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- work closely with internal business partners to understand and validate monthly commission and fee activity
- receive and resolve inquiries related to advisor partner firm activity submitted to the finance and operations departments
- analyze commission and fee revenues as well as itemized expenses to verify partner firm payments are properly recorded and reconciled
- verify the accuracy of commissions received and payable in accordance with each partner firm contract
- provide monthly reporting summarizing commission activity and identifying margins, trends and expectations based on recent account activity
- support finance in providing analysis of business performance across relevant platforms
- generate reports as needed showing performance metrics on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
- provide comprehensive metrics to senior leadership as needed
- generate monthly commission payments to partners and providing general assessments of current account detail
- respond to partner inquiries and other ad-hoc reporting requests
- identify areas to proactively collaborate with internal business units and external vendors to enhance the service levels provided to our partner firms
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:
- Superior analytical and financial modeling skills (advanced in Microsoft Excel)
- Familiarity with the securities industry, experience with Pershing a plus
- Experience working with commissions-based reconciliation process
- Detail oriented with excellent communication skills (ability to engage with partner firm owners related to their data)
EDUCATION AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED
- 3-5 years’ experience working in commissions analyst position
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline or equivalent experience
