Position Purpose:

The Idaho Environmental Coalition (IEC) Technical Communication Specialist conceives, develops, and implements effective and strategic technical writing products requested by the IEC Director of Communications.

The Technical Communication Specialist will support IEC emergency communication processes and will become accredited as a Public Information Officer, working out of the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Emergency Operations Center. This requires knowledge of emergency communication procedures and the media.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications plus a minimum of five years of increasing Communication responsibilities, preferably working for a DOE contractor
