Reports to: Communities Director
Compensation: TBD; Based on experience

Summary: Focus is a popular, rapidly growing, service oriented, property management company who is seeking a full time Communities Leader to oversee apartment complexes in the Fox Valley. We are looking for a positive, hardworking, trustworthy, and organized person with a strong ability to multitask. This is a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the inner workings of property management and real estate investing!
Communities Leader Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site managers, vendors and independent contractors at designated Focus managed properties, including but not limited to the following:
- Oversee the vendors who are responsible for the look/feel/smell of designated properties (exterior of building and interior common areas)
- Supervision, communication and delegation with on-site managers and vendors
- Recruiting/hiring/termination of vendors, contractors and tenant-based employees
- High-level resident issues and concerns
- Routinely walk properties to assess needs and leverage vendors within your network to achieve results
- Obtain permits for projects (e.g. new dumpster enclosure fences, siding, etc.)
- Assess various locations and ensure the appearance of the building and safety measures are being maintained (e.g. exit signs lit, smoke alarms have batteries, misc. hazards, etc.)
- Identifying unauthorized vehicles and other lease violations and as well as working with office assistant(s) to carry out lease violations
- Occasionally interact with law enforcement on the behalf of Focus PM
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, frequently bending and lifting safely
- Valid driver’s license
- Working Smartphone
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Ability to travel within assigned territory, Oshkosh primarily - outliers Fond du Lac to Neenah
Skills/Attributes Desired:
- Hard-working, positive attitude and a growth mindset
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day
- General maintenance skill desired but not required
- Trustworthy
- Leadership experience preferred but not required
