Compensation Analyst

Reporting to the Director, Global Total Rewards, the Compensation Analyst will provide analytical support for the company’s compensation programs, including job leveling, position classification, pay/market analysis, survey submissions, and the annual compensation cycle process. This role will also support projects related to compensation at Cytel.
This new role will be critical in maturing our programs, processes and systems and help Cytel drive the next stage of growth.
What you’ll do
- Complete benchmarck surveys in a timely manner. Analyze salary survey results to assess market competitiveness and effectiveness of total rewards programs.
- Conduct market analysis for individual employees/teams and develop recommendations for pay adjustments, promotional increases, and hiring ranges. May work with Talent Acquisition to develop candidate offers.
- Conduct job evaluation/leveling exercises in coordination with business leaders
- Maintain internal job architecture and salary structures
- Support the year-end compensation process for merit, promotions, and bonus
- Prepare bonus accrual report, equity grant report, and other required reports
- Assist in the administration of compensation plans and programs in accordance with plan documents, employment contracts, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in various compensation projects and initiatives
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of compensation experience
- Experience with all types of compensation programs including base salary, short term and long-term incentive plans
- Strong analysis skills related to compensation programs
- Advanced Excel skills
- Motivated team player who has a desire to learn and contribute to a growing organization
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional manner
- Strong communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization.
- Multi-national company experience preferred
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors HRIS is a plus
