Responsibilities
Looking for a role where the success is found in the details? This is a new position to support our Compliance Manager. Intrepid’s Compliance Coordinator will get to work on agent and agency licensing functions that are federally and state regulated, supporting surplus line tax filings and payments, among other regulatory items. You’ll also get to work across departments to help maintain company operations while gaining exposure to a variety of commercial insurance capabilities.

About the Team
The Compliance Department provides core services to the Company and supports the Company’s goals by providing prudent compliance processes to manage threats to the business. The Compliance Coordinator facilitates delivery of the Department’s core services and will service an essential and critical member to the team. The Coordinator must be well-organized, ambitious, proactive and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Professional License: Keeping an organized, accurate, and updated list, including change updates
  • Tracking continuing education for licensed staff
  • Responding to exceptions on surplus lines reporting
  • Working with accounts payable for recurring payments
  • Verification of surplus lines due diligence completed forms
  • Completing manual forms with state specific processes
  • Routing incoming compliance and regulatory mail to the appropriate recipients
  • Updating client records with required regulatory forms

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous insurance compliance experience or legal exposure preferred, 1 to 2 years

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
