SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As a Safety Compliance Engineer, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility.

As a Compliance Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

Develop and maintain an understanding of product safety standards and requirements.

Provide basic technical assistance to SEL product groups.

Create pristine product safety procedures and reports.

Review test documentation in accordance with ISO 17025 and other quality system and safety standard requirements.

Perform safety type tests as needed.

Provide mentorship for Product Compliance and R&D technicians.
This job might be for you if:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of product compliance and engineering practices.

Experience with common test equipment and testing practices.
-
Self-starter with excellent written and verbal skills.
-
Knowledge of one of more of the following compliance areas: UL, CSA, IEC, CE.

Pay Range Data
Associate Compliance Engineer $58,100 - $90,900. Compliance Engineer $66,500 - $104,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
