As a Computer Engineer you will:

A week in the life of a Computer Engineer:
- Analyze computer science, engineering, and other software engineering problems
- Perform software and hardware development, integration, and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
- Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished and contractor furnished software.
- Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
- Develop and apply automated solutions to problems.
- Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions
- Works with the development team to understand new requirements to support mission objectives
- Perform software and system integration and testing functions
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $75,000-96,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. - Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related major.
- At least two (2) years of computer engineering experience, performing software requirements analysis, software design, software coding, software integration and software testing.
