Pay

• $15-17 per hour
• Pay rate based on qualifications and experience
• Part-Time (Year-Round), Not Benefit Eligible

Hours of Work

• Hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Hours may vary based on programming and rentals.

Typical Duties Performed

• Greet members and guests, establishing positive public relations and knowledge of the facility and department to answer any questions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Acknowledge and prepare food in accordance with Health Department regulations and guidelines.
• Correctly operate all food service equipment.
• Clean food service equipment, facility, and restrooms in accordance with Health Department regulations and guidelines.
• Accurately handle all cash transactions and accurately record items sold.
• Keep accurate records of inventory of products.
• Open and close the facility safely and securely.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by preventing and responding to emergencies.
• Educate on and enforce all park and recreation facility rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a consistent discipline policy for all staff, patrons, activity participants, spectators, and parents/guardians.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What is needed to apply for this job?

• Job seekers should be age 15 or older
• Minimum one (1) year prior experience in a food service setting
• Current CPR-AED/First Aid certifications or will to be certified
• Availability to work a variety of hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to work effectively with a wide range of ages in a diverse community
• Knowledge of accurate cash handling and receipts
• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
