Summary
This position is primarily customer focused, meeting and greeting all visitors in reception with a helpful and welcoming attitude. A background in working at prestigious, mixed use residential developments or a 5-star hotel would be preferable.
Essential Functions

- Meet and greet the residents and answer inquiries by telephone or from callers to the desk. Assist residents, guests and visitors when required.
- Assist residents with luggage/shopping to and from their apartment.
- Ensuring that the highest levels of customer care and service are maintained at all times. Deal effectively with complaints, take the correct action and remain courteous at all times.
- Ensure effective security of residents and the building at all times including manning the reception area and aid the smooth running of the car parking facilities.
- Check and screen all visitors, guests, and any contractor staff, ensuring that they have permission to be present in the building. Report any suspicious/unusual behavior, calling the police if necessary.
- Carry out regular patrols of the entire building and report any faults and/or security breaches found to the Property Manager.
- Ensure the tidiness of the common areas of the building to assist with the cleaning of public areas if outside the cleaner’s normal working hours.
- Be able to give a clear and concise handover at the end of the shift, highlighting any events that have occurred and forthcoming events.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma/GED, coupled with 2-3 years previous experience in hospitality, property management or real estate.

Position Preferences
Having an associate degree and at least four years’ experience in Property Management is preferred for this position. Additional preferred competencies for this position include:
- Degree in business, management, or real estate preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels in the organization.
- Data entry skills.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position that operates in a professional office environment. Normal days of work are third shift, however, working outside of normal days and hours may be required, depending on workload and project needs. While in the office, this position routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is regularly required to sit, stand, drive, and walk, while occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 25 lbs., use manual dexterity, and reach with hands and arms.

Must have the ability to work well with other employees, as well as with the general public, while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position is not expected to have supervisory responsibility.
