Job description

We are looking for Construction Laborer(s) around the greater Los Angeles area.

*Full-time position, benefits included!

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project.
• Clears and prepares work areas.
• Spotter to heavy equipment operators.
• Performs demolition.
• Digging trenches; Backfill trenches when necessary.

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Assist crew members in manual labor and shovel work, operate power tools, and install concrete and asphalt.
• Maintain a clean job site- pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
• Ability to lift heavy objects 50lbs. on a regular basis, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Must have knowledge of proper use and safety of equipment, tools, materials and supplies used in construction.
• Follow direction of the Superintendent/General Superintendent with regards to daily production schedule and activities

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of construction experience
• Ability to lift heavy objects 50+ lbs.

• Walking/Standing/Bending for long periods of time
• Perform strenuous physical labor in outdoor elements
• Required to have valid Driver’s License

• Required to pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
