General Laborer Job Description

Summary:

The General Laborer (GL) is the employee that does the tasks on job sites such as but not limited to erosion control, loading & unloading materials, material assembly, and assist with all other general duties as assigned.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with people under the pressure of deadlines
• Self-motivated
• Team-player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow all safety and environmental rules & policies
• Ability to safely use a variety of tools such as knives, hammers, shovels, saws, ladders, etc.
• Use of power tools such jumping jacks, plate compactors, pneumatic equipment, etc.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
