Responsibilities:

  • Key support to the COO and relevant committees
  • Understand the scope of the project
  • Facilitate internal processes including budgets, scheduling, customer selections and updates
  • Ensure that projects fulfill budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Coordinate tasks and resources
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes
  • Assist in processing change orders
  • Ensure production is on schedule
  • Provide contractor supervision from start to finish
  • Communicate with other departments to fill project needs
  • Search for ways to improve efficiency while lowering project cost
  • Obtain resources, review project quality, and create relevant reports.

Pre-Development Planning

  • Overall project budgeting and scheduling
  • Design team management, including scheduling and RFIs
  • General contractor selections, contract negotiation
  • Value engineering, including sourcing alternate and custom materials and construction methodology
  • Construction management, including scheduling, RFIs, site visits, change orders, draw schedules, warranty coordination and contract close-out
  • Move-in and out logistics and coordination with interior design professionals

Determining overall project schedule for all possible scenarios

  • Work diligently to meet project deadlines and milestones with consultants to deliver project as soon as possible
  • Assisting Hideaway Beach Club team with finding creative solutions to any unforeseen circumstances
  • Reporting and communicating with General Manager on project progress with regular reports and timely communication

Design Development/Construction

  • General: Consulting with the General Manager for Design Development and construction drawing phases.
  • Assemble project team with Club Management: including Architects, Mechanical, Structural and Environmental Engineers
  • Resolve DEP permitting issues as they may arise, work directly with Environmental Engineer
  • Initial Project budgeting and obtaining proposals from the design, permitting and legal team
  • Working in conjunction with the manager and legal team to evaluate the approval process for each plan with the City staff and council
  • Determining overall project schedule for all possible scenarios
  • Work diligently to meet project deadlines and milestones with consultants to deliver project as soon as possible
  • Reporting and communicating with General Manager on project progress with regular reports and timely communication

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
