Job description

DME is looking for a full time Construction Scheduler with demonstrated experience as scheduler to provide scheduling support services including creating resource and cost loaded engineering capital programs and construction schedules, reviewing contractors’ baseline and schedule updates, in addition to reviewing requests for time extensions. This position will work in the greater Baltimore-Maryland area.

General duties include:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor construction schedules.
  • Perform progress schedule updates including reporting and written narratives.
  • Perform cost and resource management and reporting.
  • Perform reviews of contractors’ baseline and schedule updates.
  • Develop and/or review requests for time extension.
  • Assist with development and/or analysis of post-construction delay analysis.
  • Analyze and develop project status reporting
  • Use schedules to report progress payment applications.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and impacts within project schedules.
  • Participate in meetings with project teams, and various project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling
  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or other related field.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in developing or reviewing construction project schedules
  • Understanding the theories and practices of scheduling.
  • This role may include travel to construction sites within the region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
