JOB DESCRIPTION

Urban Homes is a well-established real estate development company. We are seeking a Full-Time Site Supervisor for a construction project in Harrisonburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Site Supervisor will also be responsible for managing and supervising a team of workers, ensuring that they are following all safety procedures and completing work to the required quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and supervise all activities related to construction projects on the job site.
• Ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that work is completed in accordance with the schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed to the required quality standards.
• Manage and supervise a team of workers, ensuring that they are following all safety procedures and completing work to the required quality standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure that all workers are following safety procedures and protocols.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
• Identify and mitigate any issues or risks that may impact the project schedule or budget.
• Prepare progress reports and other project-related documents as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Harrisonburg, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
