Consultant
Work as Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer.
Perform advanced system analysis, requirement gathering, and design of large-scale cloud infrastructure with multiple functional components.
Manage development and test environments and support processes in a software development project life cycle.
Automate and streamline operational processes, develop new features, write scripts for automation using Perl & Bash. Manage DevOps best practices and code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
Design and deploy Data Centers and offices into Schneider DCIM tool (Datacenter expert and IT Advisor) Integrate DCE data and events into existing IT applications and tools.
Create out-of-the-box reports for faster analysis of capacity forecast, inventory, free U-space, server utilization, and work orders.
Utilize onboard and leverage environment health monitoring tools, Udeploy, REACT, Spunk, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace to set up alerts and build a consolidated one-stop application dashboard which helps to troubleshoot any potential showstopper issues before the customer experience them and provide recommendations for performance tuning.
Provide real-time insights into the health of the applications, from a customer experience perspective.
Work with business to identify architectural, security risks, and create a risk mitigation plan to fix the infrastructure level gaps.
Deploy the latest code of the applications on production and all test levels, involved in analyzing failed and hanging codes by coordinating and working with developers and raise the issue to the concerned team to have them resolved.
Administrate job scheduling and workflow automation software (Enterprise scheduler), configure Enterprise Scheduler license, provide troubleshooting and technical support.
Work with vendor to coordinate and prioritize license acquisition.
Oversee day-to-day operations, escalations, ticketing, and communications with all customers, identifying and driving automation around day-to-day work.
May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as automotive, banking and finance, healthcare, insurance, and Information Technology.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years of IT experience, or related must include: Data Center Operations; DCIM tool Administration; Azure Cloud; VMware Cloud; DevOps; Linux Server Administration; VMWare Virtualization; Job Scheduling and Workflow automation (Enterprise scheduler).
Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute. EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk. Salary: $119,246 – $120,246.
