Summary of Position: Digital business is the main revenue driver and No.1 priority for business growth. This role is responsible for managing Japan’s overall marketing mix across performance marketing channels, including search, retention, and paid-media channels. This role will take the initiative and drive business growth at DTC channels and ultimately achieve the mid to long-term brand and revenue goals.

Main responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for all digital marketing channels and elements, including SEM, SEO, affiliate, retention marketing, loyalty, and paid media to support branding and expand business at DTC channels.
• Develop and manage DTC marketing plans that will drive traffic and conversion with focus on evolving segmentation strategies, telling relevant messages to the consumers and encouraging engagement with the brand. Hot topics within the team are CRM, social data, life-cycle marketing and marketing automation.
• Align team on global strategy and liaising with global growth marketing team to ensure the right storytelling.
• Attract, retain and develop direct reports on the Growth Marketing team.
• Oversight on growth marketing team activities as it relates to regional business targets.
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Manage the annual SEM, affiliate, and paid media budget and provide regular management reports, including monthly digital post-campaign ROI evaluations.
• Translate initiatives into KPIs and measurable data.
• Develop new customer acquisition strategy and lead the execution through digital marketing channels and loyalty platform.
• Draw insights from available data and initiate related actions when needed.
