Content Creator & Graphic Designer
Job description
As a member of the marketing team, this position is responsible for creation of all technical and graphic content for the company’s overall marketing initiates and programs. Additionally, this role will maintain St. Supéry’s websites, social media content, SEO maintenance, and all print and digital assets.

Graphics:
- Coordinate content with Marketing team including Communications Manager, Digital Marketing Manager & CEO
- Lead creative development and execution of consumer/trade materials including POS programs, tracking and reporting. Work with POS printers/vendors
- Provide logos and design standards for all products
- Responsible for new packaging requirements and updates
- Responsible for press checks and print quality
- Coordinates design, of all packaging materials (aka “dry goods”) with marketing and winemaking teams, for both St. Supéry and Private label wines
- Must be familiar with TTB regulations and ensure marketing compliance.
- Coordinate and back up TTB label submissions.
Social Media:
- Work with marketing team for development of digital programming and strategic influencer programming to maintain and build social channels.
Website:
- Responsible for monitoring and identifying website updates including website copy and creative briefs for new projects.
- Respond to a variety of web and graphics related requests across departments
- Adhere to and Implement SEO best practices to boost Google ranking of winery website
- Continuously evaluate performance of website both technically and visually to improve user performance and quality.
- Work with outside design team as needed.
Other responsibilities:
- Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Data Entry: enter data, text, creative, etc. into online content management systems, ensuring integrity and consistency
- Report Analysis: Track Google Analytics and report progress to management
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum 1-2 years of design experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and very organized
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Innovative thinker, resourceful learner, able to find solutions in fast-moving industry
- Self starter
- Solid understanding of web imaging and display formats
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read and interpret reports. Ability to read, evaluate, and understand data to write reports and other documents. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and others.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including:
- Photoshop (ability to create, retouch, and resize imagery for print and web)
- Illustrator
- InDesign (ability to produce quick text layouts, maintain styles, and follow standards for pre-press production)
- DreamWorks
- Acrobat (understand pdf optimization for press, print, web and interactive forms)
- Search Engine Marketing (SEO)
Web
- Knowledge of FTP for maintaining, updating, and creating pages for the company website
- Ability to create HTML emails
- Ability to concept and create landing pages and microsites
Working knowledge and interest in social media and online environments including:
- Podcasting/iTunes
- Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram
- Google Analytics
Other Skills
- PowerPoint, HTML, CSS, and other graphic software experience
- Must understand sales, and be naturally sales (as well as tech) oriented
- Must have experience with targeted online communities
