Position Overview:
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of equipment or products of Komline-Sanderson and its affiliates.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Consider risks pertaining to accepting contracts, of contract obligations and financial requirements including terms of payment, foreign trade, warranty and insurance issues pertaining to K-S
- Review contracts and purchase orders for conformity with Komline-Sanderson order entry documents; complete all order entry documents
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customer via correspondence, e-mails and teleconferencing
- Track authorizations and correspondence
- Prepare contract summaries and change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables
- Maintain a file for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes, deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules; maintain additional detailed and organized files within the Accounting system
- Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate departments regarding contract status
- Prepare and issue invoice, track payments and deadlines, and update and maintain multiple spreadsheets for all Contract Jobs
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration [or other relevant discipline] ; additional qualifications in law are a plus
- Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager or relevant role
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
- Familiarity with accounting procedures
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
- Individual must have the legal right to work in the United States. Immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,069.00 - $60,924.00 per year
