Our Locust Grove branch is looking for a new Contract Logistics Information Systems Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
Under the direction of the Site Manager the WMS Local Super User is the technical and operational interface between IT and Operations as it relates to the initial deployment, training, configuration, and support of the Kuehne and Nagel WMS application.Your Responsibilities
- Implementation support/coordination of WMS to include:
- Initial warehouse and customer configuration
- You will perform user training within the facility for Go live preparation
- Application testing with IT, customer, and local users
- You will post-implementation support (1st level) for local site operational issues and (re) configuration requirements for continuous improvement projects.
- Specification and delivery of local reporting requirements.
- Local user training and administration of associated documentation.
- You will support new release testing against customer requirements.
- You will identify and recommend change controls to support operational enhancements and fixes.
- IT Network troubleshooting.
Your Skills and Experiences
- High School, Technical degree, a College degree in Logistics, Business Management, or Computer Science
- Minimum 2 years of operations experience working in the field of warehousing and transportation services.
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience working with Unix operating systems, SQL programming, and Oracle (or similar) database
- Minimum 2 years of technical experience working with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, order management systems, and Enterprise Application Integration tools. SAP experience.
- Technical and business knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) with 1+ years experience around Blue Yonder / Manhattan environments
