As a contract specialist, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organizations to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your contract management knowledge to our team where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems.

As a contract administrator, you’ll use your contracting and procurement expertise to implement and review a diverse range of proposals and contracts. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies. As a trusted team member, you’ll assist negotiations and administer contracts with the U.S. Space Force across a breadth of contract types. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in federal or local government contracting and procurement

• 5+ years of experience with Major Weapons Systems Acquisition Contracting

• Experience as a Contract Specialist

• Experience with providing procurement and cost administration services to major space related weapons

• Knowledge of cradle-to-grave Contracting, including acquisition planning, market research, RFP development, and contract execution

• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS

• Ability to work under minimal supervision and direction

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience as a Contracting Officer with unlimited warrant authority

• Experience in Space Systems Command (SSC)

• Possession of excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Possession of excellent leadership and mentoring skills

• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
