NOA's IT Consumer, Online and Publishing (COP) department supports various internal and external tools/apps including Nintendo Developer Tool, Nintendo Publisher Tool, Nintendo Network Account, Consumer Web Hosting, and Grand Prix Mobile. This group supports the consumer, ecommerce, and publishing constituents and plans for IT technologies at NOA through development of overall standards for IT areas and projects, optimizing frameworks and designs across platforms and business objectives, and supporting key applications. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Perform manual testing of existing and in-development components of the Grand Prix Platform for competitive gaming and marketing events and demonstrations
- Write test cases relevant to pre- and post-production features.
- Work with Business System Analysts to identify acceptance criteria for functional application features and behavior.
- Work with Quality Engineers to identify areas within the application set that would benefit from QA automation.
- Interact with regional and global stakeholders on the instruction, progress, and result of functional test cases.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of experience testing highly complex, technical applications and services.
- Experience with writing and executing technical test cases for web and mobile applications
- Experience identifying a tactical test plan based off of acceptance criteria of functional and technical design provided by Software Development Engineers and Business System Analysts.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to accommodate fluctuating workloads and output expectations.
- Understanding of black box manual testing techniques
- Experience with Confluence/Jira a plus
- Experience working with QR codes a plus
This contract position has a base pay range of $22- $28 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. This position is hybrid/onsite in Redmond, WA and is not fully remote.
