The Victoria’s Secret Maintenance team supports material handling, mobile equipment, HVAC, and building maintenance to our three locations in Columbus, Ohio. What you’ll do:

The Controls Engineer Technician performs a variety of maintenance, modification and repair activities in controls and automation supporting material handling, electrical and Building Automation in any of the distribution centers. This includes the ability to troubleshoot and repair sensors, encoders, decoders, and bar code readers

Key Duties:

  • Follow lockout-tag out procedures, confined space procedures, and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
  • Perform program changes, monitoring of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and PMS (Process Management Systems). Troubleshoot repairs of all Controls, Process Controllers, Control Cabinets, Power Supplies and all other field devices.

  • Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; office furniture moves and setups.
  • Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
  • Document all work order activities to comply with CMMS requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing work in all operational and Facilities areas, depending upon the immediate needs of the department.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
  • Minimum of 3 year(s) industrial maintenance experience with PLC's, conveyors, controls, and Operating Systems.
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Automatic Identification systems (Laser Scanning Devices).
  • Knowledge of DOS, OS/2, C-Programming, Dbase, Auto-Cad, Windows, Windows NT, QNX and Unix systems.
  • Experience in programming and monitoring Programmable Logic Controllers such as (Allen/Bradley, Siemens etc.).
  • Work as a team player within the department and across the business
  • Support overtime work as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
