Controller

We are searching for a motivated leader for the Controller position. This individual will have the opportunity to lead a highly skilled team and join a reputable facility in Austin, TX.

Job Summary

Directs financial activities of the organization. Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives, and policies for company. Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. Responsible for preparation of annual hospital budget. Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to budget constraints and changes in hospital reimbursement. Supervises preparation of schedules and other documentation for audits of company’s accounts. The Controller oversees the Materials Management Coordinator, a Staff Accountant and/or a Payroll Coordinator as well as the Nutrition Services Manager and Registered Dietician.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors in business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance or similar required
Advanced Excel user
Ability to work in hospital operations.
Insurance and/or billing experience preferred.
Healthcare or hospital experience
Leadership experience and ability to translate financial information to non-financial audiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
