Job description

This position will fill a key role in our Accounting Group, working under the direction of the COO/CEO. Must be able to supervise, lead the team and have a hands on approach. The qualifications for this position are:

1) A strong grasp of inventory and manufacturing fundamentals

2) Must have strong reconciliation skills

3) A strong working knowledge of inventory management (valuation and costing)

5) Be proficient in data harvesting, compiling information, and report preparation

6) Be able to supervise, lead the team. – Hands on approach.

Responsibilities

· Issue monthly financial reporting

· Responsible for Capital equipment asset management

· Inventory Management: Tracking and reconciliation. In process and finished product costing analysis, lot tracking

· Product profitability analysis

· Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance and training

· Support the automation of production, warehousing, and inventory

· Ensure proper audit trails (GAAP and industry standards and requirements).

Qualifications

· A bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 3-5 years related work experience. Inventory/manufacturing environment a plus

· Proficiency with technology applications, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel – pivot, Vlookup), QuickBooks, and integration software.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

· Adaptable and flexible in a fast-pasted and changing environment

· Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and require those under your supervision to do the same

· Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies

· High level of attention to detail. Must have a detail-oriented personality

· Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills involving large data sets

· Must be a process thinker with the ability to think outside the box

Salary

$70,000 - $75,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
