The Humane Society International (HSI), an affiliate of The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s most effective animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Coordinator, Humane Entrepreneurship Program for HSI India Campaigns. In this position you will implement the strategy of the Humane Entrepreneurship Program of HSI, India.

Responsibilities:
Program Implementation:

• Coordinates with the Farm Animal Protection department to implement the strategy of the Humane Entrepreneurship Program;
• Assists in the promotion of the program amongst relevant stakeholders and assists in resolving any queries;
• Assists in the identification of conferences and speaking opportunities for the team and the participants of the program;
• Maintains working relationships with participants in the program by following up on deadlines, deliverables, and dues;
• Assists with all scheduling related to the program’s activities and the setup of workshops and meetings;
• Assists the Campaign Manager, Humane Entrepreneurship Program maintain relationships with external stakeholders;
• Publicizes and distributes program related promotions and HSI materials, as needed;
• Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned;

Networking:

• Identifies stakeholders to broaden and deepen the database of supporters for the Humane Entrepreneurship Program.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent work experience required;
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the animal protection movement or plant-based sector required;
• Strong research skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook);
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary;
• Commitment to HSI/India’s objectives;
• Strong interest in animal protection issues preferred.
