Position Summary
The Copywriter leads the companies' strategic content marketing efforts. The position coordinates with ownership as well as both the head of marketing/sales and recruitment in order to create dynamic content for marketing and recruiting campaigns. There are three companies within the group that this position will create marketing plans for and oversee. So, it is not just one company day after day. It's an opportunity to make an impact on three distinctly different industries with common ownership. The three companies currently employ 3,800 people and are in the security, home health care and insurance fields. This is a new position. The ideal person will be responsible for developing new strategies for marketing, SEO and social media. There is a new digital marketing manager coming aboard to coordinate efforts with the copywriter. The companies continue to grow and the Copywriter will be a catalyst for accelerating the growth.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Sales workflows-create the content for multi-channel campaigns that include automated emails, calls and SMS messages
- Ability to identify relevant SEO terms for each of three companies and focus compelling content to help drive successful campaigns
- Drive a culture of constant improvement, identifying, and implementing projects in order to increase business-wide recruiting/business development effectiveness and efficiency.
- Create a calendar of content for social media as well as sequences for responses to inquiries and drip marketing campaigns
- Create content for brochures, recruitment pieces and marketing collateral as needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Larger company/client experience
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Search Engine Marketing
- Google, Facebook and Similar Platform Ad experience
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit at and work on a computer for extended periods
- Able to lift 10 pounds and reach/bend to retrieve documents in cabinets and on shelves
Work Environment
- Typical office environment
- Willing and able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met
- Copywriter will coordinate with ownership, digital marketing manager and VP of business development/marketing
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA in marketing, English, journalism or related field
- Have at least 8 years' experience working in this field
- Must have proven and successful experience with full-cycle campaigns
- Demonstrate knowledge of electronic marketing systems, CRM's as well as knowledge analytics
