NationsBenefits is seeking a M&A Corporate Development Director to assist the CEO, COO and SVP of Executive Operations in operating the company. Initiating and assisting with strategic initiatives, the successful candidate will be involved in performing due diligence on acquisitions the company is currently evaluating. The Corporate Development Director will also be responsible for helping facilitate and evaluate partnerships and integrations of said partnerships and acquisitions with the company's core processes. The M&A Corporate Development Director works to resolve problems and ensure that projects are delivered in a timely manner with high attention to detail and ingenuity. This individual will have strong research and writing skills and will be responsible for working on written material for clients, attending client calls and helping with all deliverables related to growing the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead due diligence efforts, including understanding the target business model, and historical and forecast financial performance
  • Manage a transaction due diligence process, including coordination of internal and external transactional stakeholders
  • Analysis of market and competitor and subsequent strategic planning
  • Identify synergies, define metrics, and track progress to key operational and financial objectives, including earnouts
  • Prepare transaction materials for review and/or approval
  • Communicate and present findings to Executives/Board of Directors
  • Collaborate on written material for clients, attending client calls and helping with all deliverables related to growing the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related field
  • MBA or other advanced graduate degree preferred
  • 5 years' M&A experience
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work with different multi-functional stakeholders
  • Organization – ability to be proactive and pragmatic to prioritize a multitude of deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong research and writing skills

This position may require limited travel.
