HR Generalist
Purpose:
Play an essential role in ensuring Cinch’s Human Resources department achieves its overall goals and objectives. Manage HR data analysis, support employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs, implement policies and procedures, assist with employee relations matters and collaborate with department leaders across the organization and provide support to Cinch employees as required.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
- Review and maintain I9 verification.
- Processes personnel action forms and ensures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
- Processes H1B Visa/Green card requests, check requests, P-card statements and employment verifications.
- Handles inquiries from associates and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR leader.
- Performs administrative duties in support of the HR function such as scheduling, provisioning, report generation, etc.
- Assesses data from surveys and reports, making recommendations to HR leadership.
- Creates presentations and delivers content as needed for HR related topics and in support of HR business partners.
- Cross train and serve as backup for other team members.
- Assists in the coordination of employee events, training, and meetings.
- Ensures and maintains accurate information as it relates to employee files in Cinch’s HRIS.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

- Assist with on-boarding/off-boarding meetings and the required documentation.
- Participates in or leads special HR projects and other duties as assigned.
Experience/Other Requirements
- Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance laws and policies is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, UltiPro, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in an environment where interruptions are routine and frequent.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong skills in multi-tasking, prioritization and time management while delivering accurate work product.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess a passion and drive for being part of a team to enable a high-performance culture and a great place to work.
- Ability to travel to team meetings or HR sponsored events.
- Call center experience a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field with 4 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
