Reports to the Corporate Human Resources Manager/ Director and is a salaried, exempt position. Assists Center Job Corps Human Resources Managers in maintaining overall PRH/ Odle Management mandates. This is a data driven, key performance indicator compliance position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and abides by ODLE Core Values and operating principles.
  • Assists center HR Managers in vacancy reduction strategies, recruitment, screening and onboarding all center staff.
  • Reviews the Internal Applicant Tracking Report / UAP and all HR related reports for accuracy prior to forwarding to Senior Leadership.
  • Assures all New Employee Orientation (NEO) trainings are timely with all the centers and ensures attendance by all new staff within the required PRH guidelines.
  • Assists all centers in staff training programs for PRH and Odle trainings are in compliance; ensures Train Tracks / Eckerd U are compliant. Monthly audits are submitted to corporate HR Manager and Director.
  • Monitors all personnel and employment practices to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws (SunLife, FMLA, Worker’s Compensation, 403b)
  • Review all center Corrective Actions from the center prior to submitting to Corporate HR Manager/Director for signature. Corrective Actions should include formal statements and be submitted timely.
  • Compile a monthly report of all exit interview reports and introductory period survey analysis.
  • Responsible for staffing charts and processing PSFs for assigned centers. ( New hires, Termination requests, or any change of status}
  • Travel as needed for transitioning Job Corps Centers
  • Serves as a backup to corporate HR Assistant
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another related experience
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools, and payroll and Human Resources software.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and analytically driven
  • Ability to travel

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of wage and salary administration, EEO and AAP, recruiting techniques, sound management techniques and staff training and development. Ability to relate to trainee population. Knowledge of local area employers and labor market trends. Good analytical skills. Ability to operate a personal computer and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, etc. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Working Conditions: This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling. Occasionally, position involves sitting, stooping, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicant must be able to see, hear, and speak.

Environmental Demands: Position requires ability to spend 5% of work time outside and 95% of work time indoors; ability to withstand moderate noise levels, including voice levels 90% of work time; ability to work in high temperature settings during the summer months; and ability to work in low temperature settings in winter months.
