Corporate Services Senior Analyst
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to join the Services to the Board Section team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare Annotated Agendas, Tally of Votes, and other relevant documents requested by the Section Chief.
- Operate the SEC-EXE e-mail account.
- Register document outcomes and assign numbers to resolutions.
- Submit documents for distribution on the D2S system (i.e. Chairpersons’ reports).
- Prepare and send communications from the SEC-EXE account to the Boards of Directors and respective Committees, and to the Senior Management.
- Assist Committee Coordinators in maintaining the work program of committees updated.
- Be responsible for the external publication of certain documents, such as minutes.
- Update certain areas of Secretariat’s website.
- Support the Conference Room Assistant, when deemed necessary.
- Upload certain documents to EzShare.
- Keep track and upload minutes and summaries of deliberations to the agendas of meetings.
- Provide support to the Chief of Section regarding Administrative matters.
- Support the Programming Officers, when required.
- Work under the supervision of the Chief of Section of SEC/STB.
- Follow the applicable standards of confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.
Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.
Education: You hold a bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, public policy, public administration, government, international relations.
Experience: You have at three years of relevant professional experience.
Languages: You are proficient in English and Spanish. A working understanding of French and/or Portuguese is desirable.

ABOUT THIS POSITION:
Type contract: Staff International
Length of contract: 3 years
Business Unit: The Office of the Secretary’s main function is to provide services for the IDB and IIC Boards of Governors and Boards of Executive Directors (including their standing committees), the MIF Donors Committee, and senior management. For regular and special meetings of these governance bodies the Office of Secretary (SEC) in addition to the preparation and conduct of the meetings, also provides advisory assistance and logistical support as needed.
The Office of the Secretary through the Services to the Board, Committees and Management Section (SEC/STB) contributes to the decision-making process of the Boards and Committees of the IDB Group by coordinating the discussion of corporate and operational issues, facilitating deliberations, and detailing meeting outcomes.
Location: Washington, D.C.

The organization requires a COVID-19 vaccination for in-person business in the United States. Therefore, everyone working in HQ is required to present proof of vaccination status upon hire unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption, subject to the Bank’s approval.

Contract type and duration: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
