Responsibilities
- Daily oversight, behavior management and intervention of youth and adolescent clients within therapeutic after school program
- Maintains a client caseload and develops treatment and discharge plans
- Position involves activity planning, co-facilitation of groups, individual and family counseling, case management and transportation of clients to and from program
- Maintains clinical documentation
- Minimum one year’s experience in the provision of mental health services to youth
- Good writing and communication skills
- Computer skills, desire to work as a team member, ability to work with a diverse client population and strong organizational skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Position requires a compressed work week schedule of approximately 10am-8pm Monday through Thursday during the school year and 9AM-7PM during the summer
- Must have a valid drivers license with acceptable driving history
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
